Top 10 Summer baby finds.

mom and baby summer

If you’re looking for the top 10 summer baby finds, then you’ve come to the right spot! I’ve created a list of the top 10 summer baby must-haves for keeping your baby comfortable during the warmer months! Summer is just around the corner! Keeping those little ones both happy, and comfortable is definitely a high priority on our lists as moms.

1. A good stroller fan

I had two different stroller fans on my registry.

One that fits conveniently in the diaper bag, and one a little bigger.

I love both and find myself using the larger one at home as well. It stays charged for a long time and can clip just about anywhere making it super convenient to use in any space.

My favorite is linked here! Keeping your baby cool in the summer heat is very important. For their health and happiness, and your sanity too. I’ve included this as the first on my top 10 summer baby finds for a good reason!

2. Pop and Play Dome

There are so many different types of baby domes and play pens out there. The California beach co pop and go baby play pen is one of the best finds for your baby for summer.

It definitely ranks at the top of this list in my books, having a safe place for babies and infants to stay out of the sun during the summer is so important.

It also keeps all of the bugs out with nets on all sides. Just simply pop it open and its ready to go!

3. A sun hat

Sunscreen is usually in every mom’s diaper bag during the summer months. I don’t use sunscreen on my babies until 6 months as advised by our pediatrician, but a sun hat always helps keep their little heads protected.

There are many other options to keep them protected from the sun’s harmful rays while you enjoy the warm weather! A sun hat stays in my diaper bag all summer long and gets used every time we go outside.

It also helps my little blue-eyed girl keep the sun out of her eyes, because she would much rather wear a hat than sunglasses. Of course, I keep sunglasses in our bag too, even with the strap though she doesn’t always keep them on.

4. A reliable Baby Carrier

Baby wearing is something I didn’t do much with my first, but I had her in the middle of winter, and we were inside a lot.

But having my second baby seven years later in the middle of summer was a completely different story. Summer is so busy, between cookouts and birthday parties and being outside quite often, a hands-free option is perfect.

My personal favorite baby carrier is the Ergobaby Omni 360 all position. It can be used from 12lbs all the way up to 45lbs! It is an all-around solid carrier, with lumbar support and comfortable padded straps.

With an added hood for UV protection for your little, you really can’t ask for more. It’s the only carrier I have found I can wear for hours and still be comfortable.

5. Sunscreen

I’ve spent hours researching sunscreen safe for babies and toddlers, and in my opinion Pipette Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is a great choice for my family.

Mineral sunscreen doesn’t absorb into the skin, unlike chemical sunscreen. This one applies so easily and leaves a very minimal white cast on their skin compared to some other mineral sunscreen options I’ve tried.

6. Swimsuits

Long sleeve bathing suits are honestly my favorite, even though tiny baby bikinis are absolutely adorable.

I do highly recommend making sure if you go with a long sleeve one piece, you get one that has snaps in the crotch like this one. Bonus: (It comes with a great price tag!)

There’s nothing harder than trying to get a wiggly baby out of a wet bathing suit to change a swim diaper. A two piece is also a great option. We have both in our house and our baby is in them all summer!

7. A big beach blanket

This one speaks for itself, a comfortable sand free spot for you to relax with your baby is important.

This one is huge, and water resistant which I love.

We use ours when we go to my oldest daughter’s soccer games, at the beach, park and at cookouts.

I love having a good place to keep baby toys clean for play that takes no effort to set up is important. And convince is always a priority on my list as a busy mom.

8. Wagon

I registered for the Baby Trend Expedition Stroller Wagon, and absolutely love it. Honestly, I use it more than I thought I would. It works perfect for baby naps, and my daughter loves it!

I could go on and on about the features it has, from the option to push or pull with an easy pull-out handle, to the amount of cupholders it has.

It even has a net that unzips out of the canopy to cover the whole wagon, which is great for keeping bugs and the sun off your baby during summer!

9. Muslin Swaddles

Muslin swaddles are so versatile. They make swaddling so easy, and they’re light and breathable.

They also make a great temporary sunshade in a pinch. I often used one to nurse in the summer, to make sure both baby and I were comfortable while still being close and covered up.

I always keep one handy, whether it’s for a temporary play mat, a burp cloth, or a makeshift car seat cover, they’re so helpful to have. Thats why i’ve included them in my top 10 summer baby finds .

10. Portable Highchair

Whether I’m at the park or the beach, having a safe place for my one to sit and eat gives me a good peace of mind.

There are so many options out there, but I do have two favorites, one more compact than the other.

The Baby Delight go with me portable highchair is my favorite, keeping the babies off the ground, and has a detachable sunshade as well which is perfect with the hot summer sun.

It has three different ways to use it, fitting babies, toddlers, and little kids!

If you’re looking for something smaller, the Summer pop up portable booster is a great option, folding down to just 15 inches!

It also folds open easy and has a tray for your little ones to play or enjoy their favorite snacks!

No matter which one you choose, either one will make those summer days easier while spending time outside.

Thank you so much for reading my list of top 10 summer baby finds. I’d love to hear your other ideas or suggestions! Even just some small changes to your babies summer gear can help keep them happy. Which also helps keep parents happy. Happy Summer!
